My name is Sherry and I’m very proud of my heritage in the furniture business. It all started with my Grandpa Yeager “Pops” who opened our family’s first store in 1918. My parents Herb and Ester Yeager carried on the business opening their first retail store in 1947. They opened our Ethan Allen store in Santa Rosa on Cleveland Avenue in 1969. My husband Ron and I have been carrying on the business since 1994 and our son Drue is now managing our store. So the 4th generation is now in place to continue the legacy. Our 90 years of furniture business has taught us that our first commitment is to our clients. We are committed to providing our clients with the quality, style, value and service that they have come to expect. We understand that your home is important to you. It’s where you spend time with the people you love the most. It’s a retreat and a  place that you can escape from an otherwise hectic world. We take creating this retreat seriously. Hi my name is Drue Mordecai and I am the General Manager/Business Partner/ and Interior Designer at Yeager’s Ethan Allen (an authorized Ethan Allen retailer) in Santa Rosa. I grew up in the furniture business with my family since birth and have seen all sides of how the business works. My degree in Communications/Public Relations and Marketing has given me the opportunity to not only work with my family but to work with Ethan Allen Corporate as well in many facets: Circle of Excellence Award winning Interior Designer, Lead Designer, Associate Manger, Manager, Training Specialist in Southern California, and now Business Partner with my parents and the Managing of our store. I still love the opportunity to do Design work because of the passion I have of the work we do and the impact Design has on the places we live in. I work in Design by appointment only and by referral at this time of my career because of the responsibilities of running the daily business. We are truly a fortunate family to have a business to work in that adds so much to the lives of our clients. I studied design and art at Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University where I obtained my Bachelors, and I pursued post graduate studies in international affairs at the Monterey Institute. I have been a Designer for 20 years, and I continue to delight in helping clients turn their houses into fabulous homes with Ethan Allen. I can help you realize your vision of home. |

Influenced by world renowned Marin artist, Emily MacIntyre, I developed my passion for art and history at a very early age. Pursuing this life long passion, backed by an education in art history and archeology, I naturally segued into Interior Design. Working for Ethan Allen for 25 years has allowed me to hone my skills in such places as Nob Hill, Bohemian Grove, and various wineries and Bed and Breakfasts throughout the Wine Country. I enjoy teaming with my customers to translate their vision into the home of their dreams. |
